Cancellation Policy
Hello gorgeous!
I am so excited to start our hair journey together! It is my goal to know you very well so I can interpret your needs and offer changes if and when the need arises. Below you will find all the information on my policies. If you have any questions, you can reach me at mirandaburks.glossgenius.com
Deposits:
All services require a 50% non-refundable deposit to ensure that the guests who schedule with me value and respect my time. In this relationship we always start on a foundation of trust, and it goes both ways. As your stylist, I value your investment and will absolutely go above and beyond to achieve your goals to the best of my human ability. In return, you invest a 50% deposit to guarantee you will show up for your appointment.
If you decide at the last minute that you would like to not receive part of your scheduled service(s) or change to a different service, the total amount due will remain the same as the original scheduled service(s) (unless switching to a higher valued service, in which case the total amount due will be the new service value).
To make any appointment changes without any added fees, please give me a minimum of 48 hours notice so I am able to fill any spaces that are created with the new changes.
Rescheduling:
I understand sometimes life happens and something out of your control may require you to reschedule your appointment, in this situation deposits can be transferable.
If something comes up and you do need to reschedule, please email me at mirandaburks.glossgenius.com
Sickness:
If youβor anyone you live withβis feeling under the weather, please notify me so I can cancel your appointment. Once you/they are feeling better we will get you back on the schedule.
Symptoms include: Fever, Vomiting, wet cough, body aches/chills.
Service Info:
Sometimes the hair requires multiple appointments (sessions) to achieve the desired results. Service adjustments are a slight tweak in tone, highlight placement, layers, face framing, or texturizing, but not the full service all over again. At each consultation I will be very transparent with my professional opinion and let you know if goals are achievable or if we need to create a new goal/plan.
Service prices that are quoted are starting and may go up if the service takes longer than the allotted time or an above average amount of product is needed to complete the service.
Refunds:
I value your time and in this relationship built on mutual respect I do not offer refunds for any services performed. If you feel like we didn't hit the mark, I absolutely want to maintain an open line of communication so I can fully understand where things can be improved to give you a better experience at your next appointment.
Every service is unique based on each individual and requires a different approach. This can mean that more than one appointment is needed to fully understand how your hair will react to certain services/techniques.
Environment:
It is always my goal to provide a safe, fun and relaxing environment. If you are the type of client who needs to relax, I will provide that vibe for you. If you are someone who needs to vent to a friend, I will be that exclusive ear and shoulder. Our time together is sacred.
With this in mind, I politely ask that you donβt bring extra people or kids to your appointment unless they are also receiving a service.
Animals are also not permitted in my space unless they are a service animal.
This is a time to let loose, find yourself again and push away all the stress, anxiety and outside world worries.
